Search Engines Raise Prices for Submission Consideration.

Looksmart and MSN have raised their Express Submit price to $299 where sites get reviewed and within " two business days you will be notified whether your site qualifies for inclusion in the LookSmart Network". If your site does not qualify for inclusion the $299 fee is NOT REFUNDABLE.

Yahoo now charges $299 for express submit consideration -- required for all commercial sites being submitted -- and the site will be evaluated for inclusion within 7 days. "Yahoo! Express does not guarantee a listing in the Yahoo! directory" and the $299 fee is NOT REFUNDABLE if the site is not accepted.
